About North Little Rock!

Located on the north bank of the Arkansas River in the center of the state of Arkansas, it is served by five
interstate highways: I-30, I-40, I-430, and I-440; and Highways 67/167 and 65.

Our city offers delightful diversions, points of interest and plenty of Southern hospitality guaranteed to make
your stay enjoyable.

You'll find great outdoors a plenty in our 1,575-acre Burns Park, one of the largest city parks in the nation.

We have a movie star, the photogenic Old Mill, seen in "Gone With The Wind."

There's a water theme park and non-stop shopping at McCain Mall, the largest shopping center in central
Arkansas, and Lakewood Village. Specialty shops, antiques and restaurants are in abundance - North Little
Rock has it all.

And on the bank of the Arkansas River in North Little Rock is the ALLTEL Arena, central Arkansas' state-of-the-
art center for sports and entertainment events.

About Little Rock!

Little Rock, Arkansas is home to the Arkansas Travelers (minor league baseball), River Blades (ice hockey).
Also, Little Rock is home to Mark's Hobby Shop, who caters to the RC Flyer and also supports this school.

Other area attractions are the  Arkansas Governor’s Mansion, Robinson Music Center Auditorium, the
Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, Taborian Hall, the State Capitol Building and the Arkansas River.

 

Most visitors tour the Heifer International, the Arkansas Museum, the Little Rock Zoo and the MacArthur
Museum of Arkansas Military History. Others visit the Museum of Discovery, the Old Statehouse Museum,
The Repertory Theater and Pinnacle Mountain.

 

Other Little Rock attractions are Villa Marre,  Murry’s Dinner Playhouse, Wildwood Park for the Performing
Arts, River Market, Riverfront Park, the War Memorial Stadium and the William Jefferson Clinton Presidential
Library.

 

The Aerospace Education Center, Decorative Arts Museum, Ernie’s Museum of Black Arkansas, Wild River
Country, Lake Maumelle and National Guard Museum also provide hours of family fun.

 

Golfers, Little Rock offers an array of golf courses and clubs such as Burns Park, Cadron Valley, Duffers, Fort
Roots, Tournament, Hindman, Foxwood and Eagle Hill.

 

The local restaurants are Anderson’s Cajun’s Warf Seafood Restaurant, Café D’Roma, Alouette’s French
Restaurant, Capers, Brave New Restaurant, Loca Luna,  Markham 225, Ashley’s at the Capital, Capriccio,
