Text Box: Primary Flight Training
Text Box:

You will train using a JR 9303 "Training System" along with the FMA Co-Pilot and a special technique called RT. The combination of training systems allows you to focus on learning with less anxiety. R.T. allows you to “feel” the proper inputs needed to fly your plane.  The Co-Pilot quickly builds confidence in your flying skills, and gives you more actual flying time with out instructor interruption. In addition to the Co-Pilot and RT, we also use a JR 9303 2.4 GHz training system.  It is similar to  a “buddy box”, but allows the student more flexibility. The instructor can instantly take back control of a wayward plane, or give the student control of one or more of the plane’s controls at a time!

One Week to Solo is the basis of the school! Each lesson outlines WHAT to do, HOW to do it, and WHY it's done this way, so that you'll be able to enter each flight with a solid plan and be confident that you will succeed. This manual is provided at no extra charge. Workbooks are also included to reduce the necessity for notes.
Text Box: Workshops
Since it is not practical for a student to fly six hours a day, the school also includes many workshops that deal with engines, aircraft maintenance and question & answer sessions.  These sessions help the student gain practical information that can take years to learn otherwise.

Classes
Primary flight training classes are held April through November with each class running 5 days - Monday through Friday and class sizes are held to 3 military  or 2 civilian students. The  Flight School is located at a chartered AMA private club, where you are the only one in the air.  Lessons are tailored individually to each student. Personal attention, combined with the exchanges with your classmate & instructors enhances your potential for learning new skills throughout the week!
The course includes: 5 days with 20 to 25 sessions of flight instruction, training aircraft, all support equipment, flight manuals and fuel. References are available on the website at  www.2ndrcflightschool.com
